It's Gone !!!!!

These photos were taken on 6/3/00. All that is left is the front straight and Turns 1 & 2. 

The rest of the pavement has gone, but you can see where it was.

Truly the end of an era.

One more  racetrack becomes a playground for the 'rich & famous'

So another great racetrack becomes yet one more lousy golf course. 

And it's called progress..........

2000 years ago when men walked around beating the ground with clubs, they called it witchcraft.

 Today, they call it golf....

Wow, I am amazed and impressed with the response that I have gotten form these pictures. 'Bridge' sure made a serious impression on a lotta people, me included. (turn 1, but that's another story, maybe later)

this racing icon. Those of us who have turned a wheel on this track cannot
help but feel deeply when viewing these pictures."
